In Thailand, a lot of natural forests have been lost over the years due to farming, commercial logging, or forest fires. Especially in local areas, recent extreme weather has caused frequent floods, leading to many casualties, and deforestation has seriously impacted local communities. This project focuses on “environmental education” in the community through tree planting and simple dam installations. The goal is to teach local people, especially kids, conservation skills and to help them develop a sense of looking after their own land. The work doesn’t just stop at the activities; it supports sustainable communities both in practical and educational ways.
